I had loads, but found that the quality wasn't that great and this year a few were toast. So, I wanted to find something a little bit nicer and sturdier to help warm up these drab months. I liked the way these looked when lit, so I decided to order.I wasn't familiar with the brand, but took the risk. I am glad I did! The size of the globes are a great size for adding emphasis and supply a variation on my other collection of lights. They do a good job of adding more light in low-light (how my husband likes to enjoy tv time- contrary to my not being able to stand low-light for activities), so we are both placated.I enjoy these so much, I am thinking about where I can put them for year round zhuzhing up. I really appreciate how sturdy the battery box is! Most have a slide function that often breaks after the first use, but these are clip-locked and robust! These are really good quality and look lovely. I am really happy with them!

My favourite type of lights - these little globes just look so smart and friendly. This set is a warm white colour and is entirely run by 3 AA batteries with three different control options - on, on for 6 hours then off or off. There's no flashing or pulsing or strobing so they are ideal to put around pictures.Although they have an outdoor rating the batteries would suffer quite a lot in harsh temperatures so I've kept them for indoor use (operating them on the 6 hours and then off mode in case I forget to turn them off one evening.One of the few sets of lights I've had out of the box that didn't get tangled when pulling them out to their full length (about 3m) so quite easy to stretch across the wall as well. Cold to the touch and very low voltage these are ideal for places where they may be touched by children- the globes seem fairly strong and wouldn't shatter easily.
