For a small, inexpensive statue, this figure of La Madama has a lot of nice details. Let me start out by saying that ideally I would love a larger, more detailed statue. But for the price, this is quite nice, especially for a small space. Beneath the base are 4 small rubber circles to prevent skidding. I like how the white shirt is matte, in contrast with the glossier red skirt and cap. Madama's features are nicely painted and detailed. The one thing I wish was that her broom was straw-colored rather than red; even the gold used on her name and the striped on her dress would have been a nice contrast. But that's a small issue. I was pleasantly surprised to see how nice this figure was for the price. Shipped quickly.

Very pretty but check the size, it is 5 inches tall which is the size of the avg persons hand so she’s short if you wanna keep her in a small space that’ll be great

I went to Cuba before Obama allowed American tourism there. I could not bring anything back, so, when I saw this item on Amazon I bought it to remember the Santeria influences I observed during my visit. Its made of a synthetic polymer which is durable and has some weight. Its painted really nicely.

The title of this post is EXTREMELY misleading. This is not a Catholic saint, despite the claim to the contrary, but a pagan spirit related to Latin America.
