The yarn is of excellent quality, consistent thickness and evenly wrapped 3-ply. It has a lot of shine and I noticed it will not show patterns as easily. I feel stockinette stitch is best suited. I will likely use 2.25mm to 2.75mm bamboo knitting needles because this yarn is very fine and slippery. My gauge using 2.75mm needles is approx. 32 stitches by 44 rows for a 4" x 4" patch in stockinette before washing garment. I just started my project, so I do not know how much, if any, shrink there is to be considered after washing for the first time. Be careful as silk yarn knots easily. I wrapped the yarn right away to help prevent knots and snags.

No sheen, no shine, just matte. The item doesn’t look like silk, not as advertised in their picture. Difficult to believe it’s silk.

The picture indicates Two skeins of silk yarn and only received one. I now have to wait on another order before the project can be finished. The silk is great and a great product.

This is the loveliest fine yarn, more like thick, twisted thread. It was well packaged and required a signature. Not certain how I will use it, but it is certain to make the best fine fringe. It is variegated from the darkest aqua to the lightest with a pretty seen. Soft and very pretty. I believe it is hand dyed, so I would expect dye lots might vary greatly. I would buy it again.

Beautiful colors

It's small and it's not as white as the picture shows nor does it look like it in the picture it also shows on the picture that there is 2 rolls when I got it I opened it and it only had one roll its not even the same size as it is in the picture.

My only concern is the yarn thread is finer than I thought, but still a beautiful color and feel!

This is definitely not fingering/sport/sock weight yarn! A very fine lace weight. The skeins are little, but I imagine the yardage is still there. The colors are exquisite though, so all is forgiven. I'm disappointed because now I have to find lace weight patterns. Glad I bought extra!
