So far this seems to be a very cost effective alternative to the Samsung original. I wasn't entirely sure whether this cartridge would be compatible with my printer as I had updated the firmware a year ago (to version V1.20.00.88) - something that I later learned may block third party substitutes from working. The price was, however, very attractive and I was prepared to buy a chip kit to get it working if necessary. Fortunately it wasn't necessary and it's now installed and working without problems right out of the box, and the quality is indistinguishable.The Samsung cartridge that came with the printer - presumably a MLT-D105S with a nominal capacity of 1,500 pages - actually printed about 900 pages based on my own personal usage (mainly for business) before the quality became unacceptable with 7% of the toner remaining. I'm therefore expecting that this new purchase (nominal capacity 2,500 pages) should actually print around 1,500 pages in my case; I'll try to remember to report back in a couple of years time...August 2014 update------------------Well, after 27 months use, I've printed 600 pages and used 35% of the toner - so on track to last for about 1,700 business pages and another 3 or 4 years. Not bad.July 2016 update------------------Still going - 1,057 pages printed and 59% of the toner used, so expected life is still 1,700 business pages.

I had bought a toner cartridge from this company before. It was working very well and I ordered a replacement for when it ran out.After I’d ordered the replacement (about 2000 pages in) the toner started leaving blotches on every page that printed, and this problem got progressively worse – by the end about 30 blotches per page.Had the problem occurred in the first place I wouldn’t have ordered a replacement but I already had it, so tried to insert it into my printer (an ML-1915)…and it didn’t fit (yes, I did remove all the packaging).I rang the customer services department and they were very helpful. The man I spoke to couldn’t diagnose the problem over the phone but said he’d send me a replacement for free, first class, and I didn’t need to send the original cartridge back. He was as good as his word…but that one didn’t fit either.Fed up of the poor print quality and poor fit I decided to splash out on a genuine cartridge: it fitted and produced perfect print quality from the first page. A shame the originals cost so much over the odds but at least they work…

For the price I'm happy and will buy again to use in either of our two ML-2580n printers.However, if I needed this cartridge for more than printing out invoices (that I've paid) for record keeping purposes I think I would have been disappointed but, as I don't I'm satisfied. Performance wobbles a bit when it encounters large blocks of black or tones then you'll get banding (this has happened with both the cartridges we bought, on both our printers).

We only needed this to get a last few runs from a couple of Samsung printers we have, the first refused to deal with it so we put that down to the printer which has been discarded and the second is OK but the quality is poor, it's not the printer for sure but as it is only used for some basic A4 sheet labels it's not an issue for us. Not 1 star for the price but this would have been a more hassle to return scenario. Best avoided unless happy to gamble.

Delivery: The toner was packed in heavy duty bubble packaging, inside a box, so it was well protected.The toner: It was recognised immediately by the printer and the test print stated that it has print capacity 2.5k pages.The print quality: The print quality was equally as good as original Samsung toner cartridge; in fact, slightly better, because the actual prints were darker. I cannot say if I will get 2.5k pages or anywhere near, but if I get 2k or more, then it would be very good value for money.Verdict: With prints of this quality and at such a competitive price, I don't think I would go back to the original Samsung toner cartridges. Definitely worth the purchase!

Bought one of these back in June 2014 ready to fit my Samsung ML-1910 when the current one expires. Just fitted it and it doesn't work at all - red warning light comes on steady and stays on. I've tried swapping the chips - old to new and vice versa. The old cartridge works fine with either chip, but the new cartridge still doesn't work with either chip. When I bought it I also bought a cartridge from another firm, they turned out to be identical - cartridge and box! I've tried the second new cartridge also - and that doesn't work either. Haven't had a problem with the many 'pattern' cartridges I've bought previously from other firms, but don't want any more of these so will avoid this supplier in future.

There's a plastic strip that you have to pull out before you use it.If you don't do that, you'll get nothing but a fuzzy blur of ink on the page when you try to print.Having done that, working fine so far, haven't printed many pages yet. The output is a very dense black.

Brilliant compatible Toner.Saving every penny every print.Just got bit expensive than previous purchase but definitely half the price what you pay for the original.
