This dog seat cover has been a total lifesaver for me and I have no idea what I did before I purchased it! I have two dogs and one of them in particular leaves her long blonde hairs absolutely everywhere. This has always made car journeys a bit of a nightmare as the clean up effort is such hard work. The other dog isn't such a shedder, however she isn't the biggest fan of the car and can get quite distressed... Sometimes, we even get a little motion sickness so vomit is part and parcel of the fun too!I purchased this in the hopes of protecting the upholstery in my car. Despite trying to keep it clean myself, I'd got to the stage where I was regularly paying for valeting to try and counteract the hair and the mess. This has saved me a fortune since I bought it and I will never transport a dog in a car without one again. It protects my seats, the floor and the car doors. It catches all of the hairs and traps them within the hammock shape. Any vomit is in the hammock and not all over the car making clean up quick. This is thick enough that it provides some protection and stops any little accidents from immediately soaking into the fabric seats.In addition to all of these positive factors, this is so quick and easy to install and is equally quick and easy to remove from the car. I find the material quite wipe clean so any light soiling can be easily removed with sponges or wet wipes. The hair is very easy brushed off, especially if you have a hand-brush or broom to hand. I haven't attempted to wash this in a washing machine but think I would have to take it to the laundrette due to the size and the light padding.The dog with motion sickness actually finds car journeys a little easier since I purchased this hammock too. The textile used seems to provide her with more grip and this makes her much more comfortable. The shape also means it's ideal for them to snuggle up and go to sleep if they are inclined to do so.I have awarded this product a firm 5 stars from a possible 5. I have been using it for a few months now and I'm as happy with it as I was the day it arrived. The handy drawstring bag that comes with this is ideal, meaning when it is not in use I can simply fold it up and keep it in the boot. Another great benefit is that any hairs get trapped in the bag, not all over the boot of your car!This really has taken a lot of the stress and mess out of taking the dogs out for a jaunt.
