Best step for digs
This is the third step I have tried. Avoided it originally because of the price but it is worth every cent! Great quality, works perfectly on my jeep wrangler, and the dogs learned to use it very quickly. Had no delays or problems with shipping. Would highly recommend this step!

A great step up and so easy to use!!!
I read lots of reviews on this step and almost didn’t buy it. Glad I went for it. Worth every penny for me. I have GIANT dogs... two Great Danes. My big boy won’t use the step (yet) because he prefers to jump straight into my FJ. My pup, however, will get used to it from day one so it’s a winner for me. Will save my back a lot of grief. With the pup weighing in at 50 already, it’s a huge relief to have a reliable and easy to use step. It mounted easily to my truck hitch so I did not need an extender. It swings out and back with the pull of a toggle bolt and moves with ease. Took a little time attaching it but nothing I couldn’t handle. I read that it needs maintenance with some WD40 and I foresee it lasting me years. I see a touch of rust on one of the bolts, hence the WD40. Nonetheless, it’s a sturdy step with a decent size area for my dogs to use. It swings under the bumper with one hand and holds my weight and the pups. There is a slight wobble in mine but it’s still plenty sturdy. I highly recommend this if your fur baby needs a boost into your ride. It saves a lot of sweat and tears and for me, that’s worth the price and then some.

Well worth the cost - perfect for Danes!
The media could not be loaded. I had to come here and rave about this product for other Dane parents especially, to encourage others to get it for their aging babies. We have a 6yr old and 4yr old. Both roughly 180lbs and our 6yr old has slowed down so we really wanted something that could help him get in our Explorer as easily as possible. We tried a tri-fold ramp and while it said it supports up to 200lbs, it bowed in the middle when they tried to walk up it (I'm 115lbs and it bowed for me as well) so neither of our boys trusted it enough to use it willingly. It was also a pain to fold up and fold out with each use then make space for in the car. This Twistep stays on all the time and easily opens and closes for us each time we need it. Took just 5 mins to get the boys to try it and it's so supportive, they trust it completely and go in and out with ease after just a few uses. It's also nice to not have to store it in the car! I know it's not cheap but as they say, you get what you pay for... & this thing will protect their aging joints and surely save us a lot in vet bills. I'll likely use it for our future dogs as well so as long as it holds up (which I bet it will) we'll never give it up. It's just too good. If you have big dogs like us and an SUV to transport them, seriously --get this. It will not disappoint!!

Absolutely fantastic!
I wish I would have had this years ago rather than a removable step! I love that it stays in the hitch and swings around easily for use. Simple install, simple use. And I love how big the surface is for my Bernese Mountain Dog to get in and out of my Jeep Rubicon. Because of the drop from the hitch height, it splits the difference between the ground and the back of the vehicle better. It is very sturdy. My dog uses it with ease both in and out of the vehicle. Love it!

Perfect for my Bigger Dogs
I needed a step for my 80lb Goldendoodle that is starting to struggle getting into my Wrangler. All the other steps were very narrow and didn't seem the best. While this is more expensive, it is heavy duty. I can sit on it, stand on it, reach the top of the jeep- oh and the dog has no problem using it! It came with a locking pin to so no one can steal it. Took about 2 minutes to install. Highly Recommend!!!**Updated- its been about a month. The locking pin is rusting and even with oil its getting harder to twist it open. This is a major issue. If it continues I would revise my rating downward. I plan to remove rust and use some Rustoleum, but for this price point, I would expect higher grade materials. The step itself is very heavy and solid, but the pins and bolts seem like junk.

Game changer
I purchased this for my German Shepard (grand dog). He has a spinal problem and difficult for him to jump into the car. I purchased a sling to put underneath his belly to lift him up but that was painful for him and heavy for me. I also had a ramp but I had to lug it in and out of the car. This tucks away underneath your back bumper. I installed this myself (64 yr woman) and I love it. I was able to train him to use it quite quickly. It is very durable, pivots easily and I can stand on it. It’s a win win situation. Now for the downside. It is costly for some people. You have to remove it every time you want to run your car through a car wash and it is a little heavy. It does stick out a little past the bumper, so be careful not to bump your shin bone. I would definitely buy the hitch lock, because this is an investment. I would buy it again in a heart beat but I don’t think that would be necessary because this thing is so tuff it will probably outlast my grand dog.

Game Changer
This is so much more stable than those portable steps or ramps. My 90lb Rottweiler can now easily get in and out of our SUV without stressing her legs/joints. It’s easy to put install and remove quickly, and light enough that I can do it alone.
