Great tool for easing off golf club grips in conjunction with a solvent. Insert tool under grip edge, holding club upright, drip in some solvent and gradually work down twisting gently as you do.

I have used this twice today having just received it.I was a little scepticle but it works, two grips off and still like new so it has pad for itself already.I was taking Jumbo grips off my driver shafts and it did take a while and a fair amount of 'elbow grease' to shift them, but that's fine.

This is a fairly simple product so it is hard to get excited about a length of curved metal and a handle.That said, it is nice and robust and super at the job it is made to do.I found that it made grip removal a breeze, I used a little kitchen soap to help with the removal and my old grips came off fairly easily.Value wise, this does seem a little pricey, considering the sum of its parts, but it does save you money, especially if you need to reuse the grips you are removing.Use this once and it's pretty much paid for itself, so I suppose it's not terrible.The finish is nice and it looks like it will last a long time as the build quality is very good.

This tool saves you from the need to cut off a grip from a club and ruining it, while allowing you to save and reuse the grip. Grips are expensive, so this tool pays for itself after a couple of uses.Push the tool under the grip and add white spirit to loosen the grip from the grip tape. Keep pushing the tool down until the grip comes off, adding more white spirit as needed. Once you have done this once, it gets easier.This is a good quality product that looks like it will last a long time.The price for such a simple tool may seem steep, but it could save money in the long run.

Love the durability, worked well on several bigger putter grips that I didn’t think I’d be able to get off, definitely wouldn’t have been able to get those ones off if using a thinner more flexible style. Doesn’t damage the grips, I was able to reuse them on other clubs.

I purchased these in order to save the original grips on my Callaway drivers when regripping. I wanted the option of going back to the original, in case I don't like my new grips. However, i can't get the tool to slide far enough up to get the grip off. Since the shaft on my driver is fiberglass, I'm hesitant to push much harder. I'm sure there is a certain level of skill required to use these and maybe i just don't have it ;). They are made well and the handles are soldered on securely. I'm sure these are a great product if you know how to use them, but didn't help me as a DIYer.

Tool arrived in a timely manor and as described. Worked perfectly! Well built, will more than pay for itself with use on two clubs!
