I apologize my review is a bit long but I feel it is important to explain how my situation was and the areas ZEN has helped improve.I have been taking anti anxiety meds for 8 months now because I had insomnia for two years and was diagnosed with anxiety disorder. Although the meds worked to calm me and i could sleep, I felt fatigued most of the time but i did not relate this to the medication at that time. I also went to see my doctor because I started not sleeping again some nights and at the same time would not cope very well with stress at work which is a lot! My doctor advised increasing the dose to double. This is when i started seeking alternatives as i did not want to be overdependent on these meds. I purchased this product first because it contained the B complex and then the positive reviews from people who had suffered from anxiety.When I received it i immediately stopped the medications i was taking for anxiety (I do not recommend this to anyone without doctors supervision, i took a personal risk) The first week i did not sleep very well, i would wake up in the middle of the night and not get sleep until early hours of the morning as my body was already used to the meds . I stuck with it for some reason and by the middle of the second week I was sleeping like a baby. After week 3 i noticed that i would fall asleep, stay asleep until morning. The other plus is that my fatigue is gone, I rise early and i find myself eager to make breakfast for my family and feel like i have more energy at work. Lastly the stress at work does not get me down like it use to. I am now ordering another two bottles so that i do not run out! Anxiety had become the center of my life but now i feel i have my life back and i would highly recommend ZEN. I have had horrible anxiety the past two years and it makes me feel annoyed easily and I lose my temper constantly. It has impacted my marriage and my relationship with my daughter too. I was reaching a point of going back on medication even though I didn't want to, due to the side-effects but couldn't get in to see my doctor for a few weeks so started researching alternatives to medication and found Zen. I read many reviews on the product and it sounded to good to be true, but I was so desperate, I bought it and received it the following day and started taking the 2 pills a day the same day I received the bottle. I will be honest and say, I figured it would do nothing and be a waste of money, but I was wrong! I noticed a difference within 24 hours. I felt so much more calm, 0 anxiety. I noticed I had control over my temper and I reacted more calmly to things I would usually blow up over. I still was very sceptical but found each day I felt the same way, more calm, no anxiety and no anger outburst at all. Even when I got annoyed at someone, which usually would send me to a rage level of anger, I found I was still very much in control and didn't hit those levels I usually did. I felt like a prisioner to my temper and had no control over it and for the first time, I feel it is efortless to control it. My daughter dropped a bottle of nail polish on the carpet the other day and it spilled everywhere. Normally I would have overreacted, yelling and carrying on and yet I stayed calm, told her it was okay and asked her to get me something to clean it up. She went to the kitchen to get what I asked her to get and I heard my 7 year old daughter say to my husband "Where is ___(the cleaning supply I asked for), I dropped nail polish on the carpet but mommy didn't yell at me at all, she was really nice." While that hurt my heart to hear, she is right, I would usually yell and freakout even over minor things. But this time I remained calm and it was effortless. I kept thinking, there is no way these natural non-medication pills are changing me so much, so I didn't take them for 1 day to see what would happen and noticed by the end of the day my anxiety had come back and so had my short-fuse temper. I took Zen again the following morning and within hours was back to a calm state. I am so happy to have found Zen and that it works for me and without the side effects medication would have given me. If you are like me and are on the fence about trying this product, try it, it could change your life like it has mine!

Works good for my anxiety but need about 6 capsules daily..

Bought this because of the reviews- most were positive. I’m on day 3 of taking Zen- and notice nothing different in focus - relaxation- or anything. I’ll continue taking nut will not re-order unless I see some bit of progress!Day 5 or 6- I still see no change in focus etc!Save your money!

Relaxing and calming.

While I know others have had great experiences with Zen, mine was horrific. I don’t want to give full blame to the pill because it was more about my body’s reaction to it. I have only ever been allergic to Penicillin in my life. I’ve never had random reactions to anything, especially not something that is all natural like Zen. But the day after I started taking it, I started losing my taste buds in the front of my tongue. At first I thought maybe I had burned my tongue on some food but just didn’t remember. The next day I woke up with cuts and ulcers all over my tongue, and my lips were so dry they started to crack everywhere. It was all extremely painful. The next day I suffered through the pain and was barely able to taste anything, but by dinner time the ulcers had started moving down my throat and I was unable to eat because of the pain. I went straight to the doctor and discovered that the ONLY thing that has changed in my life in the last 4 days was taking this supplement. I immediately stopped taking it and have had to gargle a prescription mouthwash to help with the ulcers and swelling, and things have immediately started to get better. I know this company had no intention of anyone having this type of reaction, but it has caused me to be so miserable with pain. The hardest part is what I wrote in the beginning of this post. I’m a fairly healthy individual overall. I don't take any medications, I only have one medicinal allergy, and I usually react to otc items very well. This was just a shock of an event and has put me through hell in the meantime. I hope everyone else doesn’t have this reaction, but in case you quickly start to see the same symptoms I do, I want this post to help that person know to stop taking this supp as quickly as possible.
