The product looks exactly as pictured. Very attractive. The fragrance filled the space without being too overpowering, however, it did have an artificial scent to it and it gave me a headache. This may just be my personal sensitivity to it. I did open it and put the reeds in it so I will not be returning it.UPDATE: I am changing my to 5 stars due to the excellent customer service I received. The company reached out to me to offer me a full refund and said they hoped I would give them another try. I did, with a different scent (Lavender and Sandalwood), and I love it. It’s not too floral and not too woodsy, perfectly balanced… and best of all no headache whatsoever. I’ve just ordered another bottle so I can put it in my office!

The vetiver has a very nice and masculine scent to it. Not floral, but natural and pleasant. At first opening, this will be remarkably strong. For the first several days you will want to, in my opinion, only add a few sticks and bundle them together snugly to not diffuse too much scent at once. After 3 days or so it will take on a nice, understated scent to it and stay there for a very long time. If you want more scent, it's easy to sprea dout the reeds or flip them to get a burst of scent into the air, but I like to keep a subtle scent instead of soemthing that hits you in the face in a smaller room like an office.

I am satisfied with this product in both its appearance, shipping and smell. However, it does not smell like leather, it does pair well with leather scents such as our leather upholstered chairs.

I ordered this to use in my office and I generally do not care for anything with a very floral scent so the eucalyptus sage was perfect. It is such a natural, fresh, and pleasing scent with a lot of the mint coming through. It is also strong enough to be noticed but not so strong that it's overpowering or giving anyone a headache. I plan to order this one again when it runs low.

Since this is Christmastime, I searched and ordered a diffuser that would give that Christmas Tree/Holiday scent we all love at this time of year. Upon opening and setting the reeds in place, the scent was rather faint, but I thought maybe after a day or two the scent would be more noticeable . . . not. So, I placed it in my bathroom, it being a small room thinking the scent would then be noticeable . . . not.I would have to say as well, that it really doesn't smell like a forest - more like a lemony cleaning odor. Instructions say to remove the reeds after a bit and place them the other side down into the bottle of oil for better scent . . . not, and it was a bit of a mess not to get oil dripped on and around the bottle (do it in the sink if you must for easier clean-up). It was a bit pricey compared to a few others, but I was given an Amazon gift card from my sister for my Birthday and am sorry now that this is what I chose to purchase on Amazon. I don't recommend this item; take a real walk in the forest, get yourself a real Christmas Tree and some real pine boughs to decorate with, and then you will have that wonderful scent!

I was a little skeptical about buying this because the last time I bought something like this (different brand) it lasted for like a week and I had to replace it. Not only is this eucalyptus sage so good smelling, but its also lasted a really long time. I think right now it’s barely a quarter empty and I’ve had it for at least two months. I’m so excited to either repeat this scent next time I need a new one or pick a new scent. It’s also such a nice touch with the eucalyptus right in the bottle as it becomes more of a decor piece that way while still being functional! It’s not too overpowering either, I have this is my half guest bath and the scent is perfect.

Better to spend the 30 bucks and get something that works. This was a waste of money. :(
