Exotic and heady fragrance but not heavy
A new fragrance that combines the heady fragrance of frangipane, 'blond' woods and a fruity note."Tocca Simone Eau de Parfum" is from a previously unknown brand and may be the brand's sole offering to date. Although not an expert on ladies' fragrances, personal understanding is that an 'eau de parfum' is an intermediate between the full strength and typically expensive parfum and the much lighter, essentially diluted and relatively affordable eau de toilette within that family. Its fragrance is so intense that it can be applied mid- to late morning and remain noticeble well into the late evening and early morning hours; a subsequent light application would intensify the remaining fragrance level. For its trial, very little was applied to one wrist and spread to the other; its fragrance was still detectable the following morning. Were the parfum also to be available, its fragrance may persist for a full 24 hours or beyond. While woody fragrances (often sandalwood, rosemary or thyme and sometimes nutmeg) were once exclusive to male fragrances, they became very popular with many ladies of whom some would purchase such products either to share with their male partner or to use themselves; many ladies' fragrances are now using these elements. Similarly, fruit and citrus extracts were also formerly male-only territory but are now considered gender-neutral. That may explain the inclusion of watermelon in this. The bottle's small size, just 20ml, at £42, makes it a select product. The specific character of frangipane is likely, as the manufacturers suggest, to make the fragrance especially attractive to the younger female, some of whom would strongly hint it as a potential gift for themselves by their boyfriend, fiancé or parent. It may be equally attractive to the slightly older woman, still enjoying life to the full, who may also be better able to buy it herself. It is unlikely to be an everyday fragrance, but is probably best reserved for use on a special event, evenings out and date-nights.

Very nice fresh fragrance which lasts most of the day, no allergic reactions
At £42 for just a 20ml bottle working out at £210 per 100ml, I'd class this above a budget perfume. So to justify the price, in my view it needs:-- Have a bottle which looks and feels premium- To smell nice, but be sophisticatedly subtle and understated- last a decent amount of timeSo the bottle does look nice and subtle, but unfortunately the bottle lid is made of cheap plastic, and looks and feels it. Given how much they're charging, they really should have spent a few pence more for a nicer lid! - First impressions to count especially for a premium product. The smell itself is really nice and fresh. There's a good hint of watermelon, which is actually very nice. The main thing is that it's not overpowering and the nice smell is subtle enough to definitely lift it above the budget perfume crowd.Another bonus is that it managed to last most of the day, so if you're wearing it for an evening out, you should be ok for 4-6 hours at least.Normally, for most alcohol based perfurmes, there's an allergic reaction with my skin, but in this case there isn't - which is a great relief. And generally I find that only the more premium perfumes achieve this, which is a big plus for this.So what do I think? - well at £42 it's certainly not budget, but you can also pay hundreds for a similar amount if you go high end. The fact there's no allergic reaction I found a real bonus here, and the scent is nice. Only let down by the cheap bottle lid. Would I recommend it? Definitely.

A beautiful Summer / Spring fragrance for Women!
This is the second time that I have tried a Tocca perfume and in both encounters the fragrances were fairly long lasting and had a lot of depth in notes. Tocca Simone is no exception and this perfume would be a perfect Summer or Spring fragrance, especially for those special days and nights you want to remember.Top notes are Watermelon, Apple and Lemon.Middle notes are Freesia, Frangipani, Rose and Ylang-Ylang.Base notes are Musk, Woody Notes and Amber. The watermelon and citrus in the opening is so fresh, summery, and beautiful. Then that hint of slightly soapy freesia comes in, and it is truly divine. The Soapiness of the Freesia pairs beautifully with the citrus of the Lemon. Nothing about this fragrance screams cleaner. It is just soft, pretty, and fresh.I personally can't put a finger on when I would rather wear this fragrance. The fresh and aquatic vibe it holds could easily be used on a brunch reunion with some friends or possibly even on a romantic evening date. The scent is also appropriate for most ages but has a little more maturity to it, so possibly for those aged 25+.With that being said, this is a beautiful and well rounded fragrance by Tocca, which is fairly long lasting (about 8hrs) and is small enough to take with you in your bag if you need a top up on perfume. A little pricey but a lovely fragrance indeed.Thank you for reading my honest review, I hope you found it helpful! :)

Unique fragrance
Absolutely in love with this fragrance, it’s definitely hot summer vibes with the watermelon and is just generally a pleasant scent to experience. The mix of notes through from the opening to the dry down are exquisitely blended, it opened with a beautiful fruity blast of watermelon, lemon and apples, as the fragrance settles you start to get a more floral mid layer, lots of Freesia and Ylang-Ylang, finally the dry down brings some musk and amber.Overall it has good longevity and silage (not Coco Mademoiselle levels but still more than acceptable). The scent probably leans more youthful towards the mid-twenties to mid-forties, it’s very much a spring/summer type scent, not quite beach vibes but maybe city escape somewhere in Europe. The packaging and bottle are beautiful, very high end and do indeed reflect the price point of this perfume. This is possibly the only part that’s hard to swallow, at £42 for 20ml it’s definitely out of my usual price point for fragrances so I will be saving this for special occasions only.

Buy it. Just buy it.
Holy CRAP. I bought the Tocca Viaggio 3 pack with Florence, Stella, and Cleo, and loved it so much I decided to buy Simone based just on the scent notes. Watermelon? Can't go wrong, right? SO RIGHT! It's better than I expected. The bottle just arrived. When I sniffed the top, it smelled good, but a bit generic. As soon as it hit my skin, though, it was amazing. All the different layers came out. It's slightly sweet and mildly floral, and just a bit powdery. It definitely does smell beachy and summery. I am in love with it. I smell great!

The real thing!
Absolutely love this perfume! I initially got a sample with ScentBird (I cancelled the subscription after the 3rd or 4th package because it wasn't worth the money). But this scent and brand was the first package I had received and I got SO many compliments on it. Tried to purchase it through Sephora, but its super pricey. So I went to Amazon. Always a little skeptical when it comes to perfume on here, but it arrived and smelled exactly as I remember. It is pricey for the small amount you receive, so I reserve it for special occasions only.

Simone for Simone
I tried this because it’s my name and let me tell you- I love it!!! It’s a flirty and playful scent with a hint of boldness. The floral and sweet scent is very mild. Great combination of both without being over powerful . It last all day. I get so many compliments.
