Super soft
I love the softness of this yarn. I love the bright color. I didn't have a problem with it splitting at all. It is a bit fuzzy, so un-doing stitches can be a bit of a mess, but that is to be expected. As I usually use worsted or bulky yarn, this seemed pretty thin, but still sturdy and fairly easy to work with. Now I just need to come up with another project so I can buy more!

Gorgeous color and sheen
Great value for this multi pack, and the jewel colors are amazing! Since it is a 3DK thickness, I used a two strand approach with the baby blanket I made. I used a simple V stitch crochet pattern, and I am just in love with the teal blue. It is a color that would be appropriate for both boys and girls, reminds me of a peacock feather or the scales of a mermaid. So gorgeous in the sunlight. Since this yarn is thinner than worsted weight, it drapes very nicely. If you are a beginner crochet practitioner, you might expect the first few rows to be challenging. It does tangle easily which makes it difficult to pull out stitches that are incorrect. I would suggest using a very simple stitch pattern if you are not used to working with a three DK weight yarn. I am also waiting on an order of this yarn in the rose red color, I am planning to crochet a hummingbird in the amigarumi style.

The shine does not disappoint
It has a beautiful shine, much better than I expected, and is nice and soft.I didn't expect it to be that thin. I guess when I saw the recommended crochet hook gauge to be 4.5-5.5, I didn't think it would be thin enough to work with a 2.5 hook. It actually looks thicker than it feels when you start working on it and it is easy to work with.I also didn't expect that the center of the skein would be stuffed with a loosely wound wad of yarn that was completely separate from the main bodyOverall, I don't regret buying it and I love using it, but I need to find a thicker version for my other projects.

A little tricky
What to expect: This yarn is beautiful and has a nice shiny glow, but as others have said, it is not for beginners. It took some getting used to, and I find that I have to work pretty slowly. It is very, very soft, slippery, and light as a feather. I have never worked with yarn this light before, so it is a new and tricky experience. I am using it in a crochet project (shawl), but I'm sure I would have the same results with knitting. Don't let it get anywhere near Velcro, because it catches and creates a fuzz mess. That is true for all yarn, but especially this one (I have to wear a hand brace that has Velcro on it).Tangles: I am not having any problems with it knotting while I am working with it, but I definitely had to be careful untangling the yarn barf when I pulled it out of the middle of the skein, using center-pull. I am expecting to have some trouble when I get near the end of the skein as well, but I am not there yet.Size: I agree with others that it is smaller than standard DK weight.Splitting: I haven't had any problems with splitting, but I probably would if I were knitting with it, so just be careful and it will be fine.Beading: I am integrating beads into my project, and it is working just fine for that.Color: The Blue Teal color is definitely more blue than green (it looks greener in the photo than in person) but is still beautiful.I do recommend this for those who have a good amount of experience under their belts with knit and crochet, and who can be very patient.

Extremely Inconsistent
With a multicolor pack, the yarn I got feels soft, but it often gets thinner or thicker, and the thin bits feel like they could easily be pulled apart if I'm not careful. The fuzziness makes it nearly impossible to frog more than your most recent stuff if you aren't extremely careful though, so if it breaks it won't easily unravel. It's pretty and shiny, overall decent yarn, especially for use as an accent color for finished pieces. When I got a pack of 4 of the same color it was an entirely different story. It's thicker and scratchier and with that texture I don't want to use it for anything I will be wearing, and I can't use it in the project I started with the multi pack. I got the dark blue pack for that, and the labels on all of the balls of yarn are identical to the multicolor ones, despite the weight and fibers clearly being different. Seems like this yarn is a gamble. I can recommend the metallic pack, and the blue-silver-black one, but otherwise it seems like it might be a gamble of getting thicker horribly scratchy yarn or thin soft slightly weak yarn.

Gorgeous and Lightweight
I have bought this yarn in three colors now, and twice in the colors that I’m showing in the photos. If I see it on sale, I will buy it whether I have a project in mind or not, because although I normally like to work with four weight or thicker yarn, this is so beautiful and the projects come out just stunning.I don’t know if I agree that this is a true DK, it feels almost like a sock weight yarn, it’s closer to a two maybe than a three, but if you’re using it for a shawl like I did, or a scarf, it’s so soft and drapes so beautifully, especially if you use a hook size larger than a yarn of this weight might recommend. I have not had a problem with it splitting. I have not had a problem with it breaking.Absolutely beautiful.

Lovely
Oooo, soft, pretty, shimmery without any scratchy metallic threads. Easy to work with. No tangles, no knots, no splitting. Seems thinner than a DK, as it's called, but that's ok. I bought the Electric Blue and Dark Walnut to try first. Both very soft and pretty.

Weird Texture - Hard to Work With
The photo made this stuff look amazing. However, texture is just wrong, it feels like spun cottony plastic. Also, I'm a beginner and I found this really hard to work with. The fiber is loose so it's easy to get your crochet hook caught inbetween strands and for the fiber to separate easily.
