I've used the ThermoPro 650 Ft Wireless Meat Thermometer on the stove, in the oven, and in my Weber propane grill, and it’s been a game-changer for cooking and grilling. Setup is easy, and it connects to my phone via Bluetooth, so I’m free to multitask without hovering by the grill. I even use the probe to monitor grill temperature, ensuring perfect results. Since using this thermometer, my grilling has improved dramatically—my son now claims my ribs are competition-level, better than anything we’ve had in local New Jersey restaurants. Highly recommend for anyone serious about their cooking!

Bottom line: I love these things and they have made me feel like an expert griller though in reality I am an advanced beginner.My setup(s): I have a Weber Go Anywhere Charcoal and a Weber Master Touch charcoal grill. Got a smaller ThermoPro with just to probes for the GA when I was living in an apartment; got this one for the kettle when I moved to a house. (Loved the first ThemoPro but needed more probes and wanted wireless so I could move away from the grill on long cooks. Keeping the first one for indoor use.)I don't know what I would do without these thermometers when it comes to grilling steaks to just the right doneness, or making sure fish or poultry are properly cooked. These things are a godsend. Get each steak done just the way you want it. Know when your smoked chicken is cooked and safe. No more estimating. Now you don't guess, you KNOW.I upgraded because I wanted bluetooth and the app. More on bluetooth below. The app is quite good IMO. It lets you track the temperature on each probe with a graph (see how fast your meat is heating, watch temperature fluctuations inside your grill or smoker, etc.). I have only just started using the kettle as a smoker. I had trouble controlling the temperature — but this unit kept me apprised off when I needed to widen or narrow the vents. It also did a great job with meat temperature, as always.My criticisms are minimal. First, bluetooth is bluetooth. Meaning that it's great if you are near the unit and have direct line of sight, but it's not so great going through walls. I grill in the back,z behind the house, and I can't get the bluetooth signal in the front of the house. That's just a limitation of bluetooth but it makes me wish I'd gotten a WiFi unit instead.Second, while this has a retractable tab with a hole for hanging it on... something? (somewhere on the grill I guess), my previous ThermoPro had a magnet as well as hole for a hook. I'm sure the difference is that the housing on the older one is steel, while the new one is plastic, so it can't be exposed to as much heat. But you are sort of on your own to figure out where to hang it/put it.I am thinking that this would be a great combination with a temperature controller like a Pitmaster BBQ IQ, though you'd need to have two probes monitoring the ambient temperature, one from the ThermoPro and one from the controller, to get the benefit of both. That could take up a lot of space on the grate. Or you could spring for a much more expensive, networked, wireless-enabled controller with its own app. Maybe someday. Right now, this works just fine.

I tried 3 or 4 wireless thermometers but none of them worked when the smoker lid was closed. This one works great. I plug the probes in, leave the base next to my smoker and monitor the temperature on my phone. There is one annoying thing though, it kept sending alerts saying disconnected even though the temp kept measuring. All I had to do was turn those alerts off though. If you have a good heavy steel smoker don't go with the wireless probes, they just don't work. Save yourself the trouble of trying and returning those.

Works great, reliable, easy to use. Much better than blue tooth version that’s a pain and annoying to use.

This is a FANTASTIC device!I purchased it primarily for smoking. The 4 probes are great! I used 1 in each pork butt, and one to monitor the BBQ temp. SO many great features! I love the way each of the probes has a convenient way to wrap up the cord and store it. I love that it's rechargeable using a standard USB-C plug. I love how the app shows temperature profiles.I really love how you can set your own temperature limits for alarms. This is critical in smoking. I had alarms to tell me if the smoker was too hot or too cold, I could set specific temps for the meats.I literally have no complaints and nothing but great things to say about this device AND the app. The app is easy to use and straightforward to operate. My only complaint is I wish I had purchased it sooner! I wasted a bunch of money on cheaper remote thermometers that were no where near as good. Superb product!

El termómetro funciona muy bien y la app en el teléfono funciona muy bien, de gran ayuda está inversión, en lo personal lo uso para cocinar cortes en el asador de carbón y me he comido los mejores cortes de mi vida gracia a que puedo sacar el corte a la temperatura ideal deseada. Sin duda para los que pasan tiempo cocinando ya sea en el hogar o en el patio con su asador este es un equipo que no debe faltar.

We have a dual fuel oven, but when I used the probe we found out the oven couldn't even go as high as 180c.As for detecting the inner temp of meat, I guess this unit works really well and the app sync up with the main unit perfectly.But I wished I bought the 2 units so I didn't have to keep checking the app on my phone.It's a must if want your meat doneness to your liking.
