Hold Tight
When you’ve had a pot roast in the oven for 3 or 4 hours, you don’t want to struggle to remove from that oven a VERY heavy & VERY hot Le Crueset lidded Dutch oven. I just didn’t feel I had a good enough grip on my pot roast with my silicone oven mitts, so I decided to break the bank again for a Le Crueset product and ‘invest’ in these custom fitted oven mitts. They really do make a difference in giving you a secure hold on your Dutch oven. And as I have both a very large one & a small one, it’s a good deal that the mitts fit all size LC Dutch ovens.

These Le Creuset silicone "pot holders" work well not just on Le Creuset cookware, but as pot holders for any pot with handles. I use them every time I cook, and because they are half-rigid half-flexible, they stay put on the handle and don't fall off. And because they are true silicone (not just plastic) they don't slip & slide off your pot as traditional pot holders can. I love them! I'm glad I purchased them. They are terrific, and I definitely would recommend them.

Much Easier To Use Than Large Pot Holders
Using these handle covers makes it much easier to remove the hot pot from the oven and I haven't burned myself yet, as I used to with standard cloth holders. The grip is secure and safe.

Great fit and matching color. snug on the handles so you get a firm grip on the pot and your hands are protected from the heat

Great product, but Amazon mistakenly paired large grips with small pot
As great as this product is, be aware that Amazon sometimes gets things wrong and pairs items together that doesn't go together. I got the 22 Le Creuset pot with small handles and Amazon then recommended I get these handles. They are way too big for the handles and you have to be careful so it doesn't slip off the handles (push it in all the way). It does however work great on my wok with a single handle (12"), so I'm keeping it!
