AP Products013-571 White Global Travel Trailer Entrance Lock Set

The handle itself is very sturdy, all metal; every bit as well built as the OEM handle on my Forest River fifth wheel. It was a breeze to install, too: simply unscrew two screws on the indoor side of the OEM handleset, pull it apart, and screw this replacement in the same way. It even includes a rubber gasket to eliminate the requirement to caulk.On the downside, one of my lock cylinders doesn't work with the supplied keys. The deadbolt works, but the handle lock doesn't turn at all. I don't know if it's keyed incorrectly, or if it's just a quality issue. Additionally, the deadbolt keyway is difficult to use; the key has to be put in just right, or it won't go in. Finally, after two weeks of use, the watertight flap over the deadbolt keyway jammed open, so I expect water will eventually intrude into the cylinder, rusting the pins and preventing it from working.In sum, this is a sturdy, well built handleset, if you never lock your door. If you will be using it to lock the camper, look for an option with higher quality lock cylinders.

The media could not be loaded.  We purchased this to put on our motorhome/conversion. This latch is heavy duty, well made and has smooth operation. It exceeded our expectations.

I installed these myself in 10 minutes for each lock with a cordless screwdriver being sure not to over tighten and stripped the screws. I installed 2 of them, 1 for each door. I do not have much hand strength so I asked the husband to tighten via screwdriver when all was secured. They provide a door jam plate but it was not compatible with our camper. Our old ones worked so we left them in place. Mine were keyed differently and do not have the same number as the universal keys the camper came with. One key for the top lock and one for the bottom lock. I wish the keys were a different color so I can tell them apart. I put a sticker on them. Received as displayed in the pic. Very happy with the purchase. They are bling bling pretty too!

Lock appears to be built sturdy enough for its price. Though no fault of the lock, I had to shim around the top, left side, and bottom because I presume a previous owner had cut the hole for the lock a little bigger than needed... All in all, it looks good and secures the door as well as can be expected...

AP products 013-572 chrome travel trailer entrance lock set was very easy to install. As most of you know most of the truck campers and travel trailers are keyed alike so anyone with trailer keys can get into your trailer. This set are not keyed to match other trailers so I fill much more secure when camping and leaving trailer unsecured.

Excellent lock. Beautiful finish and the lock itself is a heavy chunk of steel. This isn't some flimsy plastic or pot metal unit. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality.

This lock set was a direct replacement for the original in my RV door. Installation was pretty straightforward. The lock did require some lubrication to keep the key from sticking but that was easy.

I bought this lock because I bought my travel trailer from a place that ripped me off they pretended to give me all the keys to my lock. I just didn't feel safe not being able to lock the bottom lock. I knew what lock I needed by matching the picture on Amazon. I am not smart at all and I could not install this kind of stuff by myself but by looking at my old lock I could see that I should be able to install the new lock. I did it by carefully matching everything as I carefully moved things around. This lock works fantastic. I am so happy. Thank you so much and I feel so safe.
