Excellent scraper
I am a cabinet maker/finish carpenter/furniture maker. I've been in these trades for the last 45 years. I've used many different scrapers over the years. The Bacho 474 is a very good scraper. It holds an edge for a long time. I couldn't ask for a better unit. I've had excellent results scraping on white oak mostly, but I've used it on cherry, EHRM, and other hardwoods with equal satisfaction. A pleasure to use.Pair that with an Accu-Burr Jr. burnisher from Heartwood Tools and you can't go wrong.

Great Scraper
Most scrapers are so stiff that keeping them bent to a proper work angle is very tiring on the hands. This one is thin enough to bend easily and at the same time, hard enough to take and keep a good burr.

Five Stars
Nice sturdy scraper. Gift, so I can't say if it keeps its "edge."
