Bike racks? More like bike rocks! Jeep Wrangler approved.
This bike rack is the BEST! Sure the instructions are hard to follow, but the assembly is only 3 bolts. You cannot go wrong. No assembly. No wobble. Lightweight but still super study. For less than half the price of the name brand rack, you can get a higher quality rack. It holds up just fine going 80MPH on the highway - still no wobble! Also, this will fit on a Jeep Wrangler with the spare on the hatchback. You can’t open the hatch with the rack on, but that doesn’t bother me!

User Friendly
I just bought a couple new bikes and want to keep them from getting scratched and banged up. This stile of rack is what I wanted for that purpose. Other racks of this style looked like they may do the job well enough but I noticed a couple things about this one that drew me toward it. The build quality looked better and the wheel straps appeared to be much more user friendly (quicker and easier) to strap the wheels down instead of the typical material style . Also the vertical bar has an adjustable pad that holds the strap in place as you are positioning the bike. All of my expectations were met. The rack holds the bikes firmly. The rack is light and plenty strong for it's job and appears like it will handle the weather reasonably well but I will always remove mine and store it my garage after the ride is through. On the down side it is priced a little high at $166 but then so are some of the others. I would recommend this to my friends. It takes me a little over 5 minutes to get the bikes ready to go on this SportsRack which could be done faster, but I am careful and picticular with my new bikes. A receiver pin lock is offered to lock it to the reciver but it can easly be unbolted at another point. I use a cable with a loop (eye) at each end and a padlock. The cable goes through the hole in the receiver where a trailer's safty chains would connect and both ends meet at the rack where it pivits to fold. At that point there is a bolt hole that is not used (there are two holes for holding the rack position but only one is used at a time; so the other is available for the lock.). Attach a padlock through that hole including through the cable loops. This secures the rack much better then the reciver pin lock while you are off riding. If before or after your bike ride you need to lock up your bikes, run a seperate bike lock cable through the bikes as well (all wheels and frame).

Nice bike rack but make sure you tighten all the ...
Nice bike rack but make sure you tighten all the bolts after receiving it. After I put the bikes on I noticed they wobbled and tightening fixed it. I gave it only four stars because one of the support tubes was bent down lower than the other out of the box. I put it on the truck hitch and using a level, I pulled it up to match other tube. I had a rack from Bell that was almost identical to this one but without the ratchet down straps for the tires (nice). The support rails on the Bell were in two pieces with a U shaped piece tying them together. This rack has one piece support tubes. I had the Bell for 7 years until someone tried to steal the bikes by taking bolts out, probably until they noticed the bike locks securing them to the truck. I didn't notice this until we stopped for gas. Had to buy bolts to repair temporarily but holes were too reamed out to repair for good. Now I bought a bigger cable and I make it very noticable, so maybe this won't happen again. If you do not use a cable to lock bikes to the vehicle thru the chain holes or around hitch frame, they can take bolts out and carry bikes off, if just chained together. The adapter to make this fit a 2" hitch is nice and well made out of metal, not plastic as most are. This allows me to use this on my Mazda with 1 1/4" hitch and on the truck and trailer with 2" hitches. Nice product, arrived on time and in good condition.

Great bike rack!
This bike rack was easy to put together. Super light weight! This rack weights about half the weight of my previous racks. The rack barely even moves when installed. Previous racks used to wobble and move a lot when I’d hit a bump but little to no movement with this one. Fast and easy to put my 29” mtb on it. Great rack!

Holds the bike(s) securely, not too difficult to load/unload bikes. Like the fact that the wheel holders can be moved a little, but this can cause clearance issues if you have two bikes of different sizes on at the same time. My bike fit fine, crank arm on my son's bike hit the upright and needed to do some imaginative positioning. Seems to be well built, but time will tell on that one.My only problem is that you have to use a long bolt where to hold it in the hitch receiver where you would normally use a retaining pin. Kind of a pain and the supplied wrench does not work with the bike rack on my wife's Beetle - not enough room. Works OK on our SUV and truck, though. I would prefer a standard retaining pin.Overall a pretty good bike rack, just a few minor issues here & there.

Strong bike rack!!
According to my Amazon purchase history, I bought this bike rack in February 2018 (5 years ago). I leave it on my car all the time and my car is parked in the driveway, so the fact that it has lasted this long is pretty remarkable. Even more remarkable, though, is how well it held up in a recent accident! The car that hit me sustained major damage, but I really think this rack protected my car from the worst of the impact. It's definitely a very strong bike rack!!It's also easy to use, etc... but the fact that it held up so well is completely amazing to me.

What you order is not what you receive.
Although the bike rack is sturdy and held our Mountain bikes very well, the bike rack I got was I’m guessing an older model than what is pictured on the box. The one I ordered is supposed to come with an updated rubber slide that is pressed up against the bike, but what I’m getting is a rubber flap that doesn’t work too well with my bike, and the strap that goes around the bike is supposed to have rubber around it incase of a slip it will not chip or scratch the bike. The flat rubber guards , no matter how tight I get the strap they still seem to move on the bike. This is the second one I received with the same issue. I understand it’s a small issue, but when you have a few thousand dollars in bikes on a rack you don’t want them to get scratched up.
