The media could not be loaded.  Awesome slicer I ever have! Love the different shapes and thickness i cant get. This V slicer is sharper than my old slicer, easy get every slice/julienne/strip at every single move. The blade insert is interchangeable, easy pull and life to replace a new one for different needs, I think the design is better than other adjustable slicer with the switching knob. Plus, the finger guard is large enough to protect my hands, but you still need to pay attention to the sharp blade.Now I'm using this slicer every day. It really helps me to do the cutting job perfectly, save me lots of time preparing veggies. Also, it is easy to clean under running water. I would highly recommend it!

It seems to be poorly designed. The potatoes that I was trying to julienne were not flexible enough to clear the ridge just after the blade. so while trying to clear the stuck potatoes the blade came loose and cut my thumb in several places. I immediately threw it out to avoid trying to use it in the future.

only used it a couple to times so far, but it sliced the tomatoes very nicely.I like the feature that you can use thinner or thicker slices.

I had previously purchased a 'chef's envy' Mandolin style slicer (etc) This was 10 yrs ago.i loved it and decided to try to find one, i did purchase one that was advertised as 'Mandolin V slicer'. It was not at all efficient. So I looked extensively, First, for the records and inserts that come with the old item, Then when i located that, i looked online. Chef's envy was still available, but at a much higher price then i had expected.When I came to GeedleV, I really was ecstatic!! One of the best things I have discovered, the blades were exactly the same as with the 'chef's envy'...Don't know why, or if they are related, but I'm really happy about that.I have it set up all the time, for a quick de-topping a strawberry or even peeling a potato. It gets 10 stars.

Plenty sharp. Primarily for potatoes

I though its just plastic when I open my package. But it is totally a different feeling when I use it. It is very sharp and it slice my apple into very thin piece. No doubt that it could works on everthing you wanted to slice with a short time.

Dull blades, cheap metal damaged by its own finger guard after the first use, plastic immediately scraped up and into the food

Once you get so low, the slicer actually cuts down itself. There needs to be a better guard for that. Kind of dangerous.

Love this mandolin.
