Clay soils can be very slow to warm up in Spring and very slow to drain, plus also very difficult to dig over and therefore not ideal for gardening! Clay Breaker can be used to improve the texture and make the best of a clay soil.

A solution for clay subsoil !
We have a layer of clay under the surface of our garden and our allotment site, thanks to local geology! Thankfully clay is quite rich in nutrients and holds moisture better than a sandy soil. It does however turn to rock in hot weather and pot-making clay in the wet!Using this on the allotment has helped stick the fine clay particles together, making a more loam-like soil texture for our raised beds there. The garden needs this too, hence this purchase, should have bought this years ago. It takes time to work, be patient, it (and frosts) will contribute to a more user friendly soil to work with.Convenient, easy and clean to use, wear gloves, and find a little tub that holds your measured 600g which is recommended per square metre.

Good product in a very good price
I bought before a 2.5kg box for around £9 and I was happy with those granules used in my front garden to loosen the clay soil. But now I need to use it for much bigger area, and I found this 10kg bucket for £21. So, it's a great deal.
