I bought the 120 grit it got delivered Saturday so I'm starting a knife sharpening service I wanted something a little more aggressive the 120 sounded perfect and it was so I got a few knives from my wife's aunt an of course they were really dull first I used the massive 120 grit work perfectly and it's perfectly flat then I went to my 325 so on and so on so just saying this stone is awesome five stars for me 4 in by 10 in perfect size for big knives I wonder if they make a thousand grit in this

I I bought this large Course Diamond Taylor Lapping plate to flatten out and to leave a rough finish to the secondary side of my natural sharpening Stones unfortunately this product was not flat, the abrasive was not evenly distributed, so much so that the edges and corners could have been used to rip you open almost as well as a serrated tactical knife and this Diamond plate also quickly developed a rust spot, in spite of the fact that i stored it dry, standing upright, in a warm, well ventilated area, I’m hoping that My experience with this product is a total fluke, because the price of this product is just right and folks really need good alternatives to having to buy a$2 - 300.00 Dollar Diamond lapping stone to do the job right. 😟

Just giving some stars to the company, which received my return of this product easily.The plate was not flat - very close to it, but I needed really flat. for most uses it's probably fine just a couple Mils off. But they accepted the return without a hassle, and noted that they are discontinuing the item. Propbably got a bad batch from overseas, I've been there myself.Thanks guys, I hope you don't lose too much off this item.

I've just ordered my third one. The first two were cupped and not even close to flat . Will update if the third one is flat but I don't have my hopes up.Update. Third one wasn't flat. What a bummer I would have loved to have an affordable large diamond plate.

Flattened my waterstones lickity split. I also used it to do a preliminary shaping on some really dull kitchen knives... took the edged down to a ready to hone edge quickly.
